What will the first session be like?
Our first meeting is really about starting a conversation. I’ll invite you to share what brought you in, what you hope to get out of therapy, and a bit of your background. Just as important, you’ll get a feel for my style and whether it feels like a good fit for you. Think of it less as an interview and more as a chance to begin building a safe and supportive connection. Clients often report they find clarity and feel more connected to themselves and others after our work.
How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Many people begin with weekly appointments to keep the momentum going, but we’ll talk together about what feels realistic and helpful for your situation. Over time, we can adjust frequency based on your needs and progress.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I work with clients across California and Florida through secure video sessions. Online therapy can be a good option if you’re balancing a busy schedule, live outside the Napa area, or simply prefer the comfort of meeting from home.
What kinds of issues do you work with?
I support adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, major life transitions, and relationship concerns. My focus is always on helping you gain clarity, ease, and resilience—no matter what you’re carrying.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, therapy can provide a supportive space to sort through what’s happening. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out—often, that’s exactly what we work on together.
Do you take insurance?
I am in-network with certain providers. If I’m out-of-network, many clients can still receive partial reimbursement through their insurance’s out-of-network benefits. I provide a superbill you can submit directly to your insurance company.
How do I get started?
You can reach out through my phone number, text or email, and I’ll respond as soon as possible. From there, we can set up a free phone consultation to see if working together feels like the right fit.
And if your question isn’t listed here, please don’t hesitate to ask. I want you to feel comfortable and informed before starting therapy.
